Dieser modulare Werkstattraum befindet sich in einem denkmalgeschützten Gebäude aus dem 18. Jahrhundert mit einer Raumhöhe von 5 Metern. Das Projekt verwandelt 1.000 m² industrielles Erbe in eine zukunftsorientierte Büroumgebung mit flexiblen Arbeitsplätzen für bis zu 60 Personen.
Im Mittelpunkt des Konzepts steht die „Insel der Möglichkeiten“ – ein zentraler Bereich, der verschiedene Arbeitsweisen unterstützt:
Der Communication Harbour dient als sozialer Ankerpunkt mit Teeküche, Lounge und Arena, die den informellen Austausch und die Teamkultur fördern. Eine maßgefertigte Decken-/Lichtskulptur - die „Cloud“ - verbindet als akustischer und visueller Blickfang Allgemeinbeleuchtung mit Schallabsorption, während weitere Beleuchtungskonzepte, Vintage-Möbel und grafische Elemente, die auf das Maschinenerbe von Motan verweisen, eine starke Markenpräsenz schaffen. Das Lichtdesign unterstreicht die verschiedenen Absichten und Funktionen dieses Multifunktionsraums.

This modular workshop space is located in a listed 18th century building with a room height of 5 mtrs. The project reimagines 1,000 m² of industrial heritage into a forward-thinking office environment with flexible workstations for up to 60 people.
At the heart of the concept lies the “Island of Possibilities” – a central zone that supports diverse work modes:
The Communication Harbour serves as a social anchor, with a tea kitchen, lounge, and arena fostering informal exchanges and team culture. A custom-made ceiling / light sculpture - the „cloud“ - combines ambient light and acoustic absorption and serves as an acoustic and visual focal point, while further lighting concepts, vintage furnishings, and graphic elements referencing Motan’s machinery heritage establish a strong brand presence. The lighting design underlines the several intentions and functions of this multi-tasking space.
